Meet Allison from The Soulfull Family
Welcome to The Soulfull Family blog! I am passionate about wholesome living and everyday encouragement for Christian women. Motherhood, homemaking, biblical womanhood, marriage & family are some of my favorite topics to write about. Life is hard and I believe we could all use tiny gems of inspiration along the way.
Hello! I’m Allison!
First things first. I am incredibly glad and humbled that you are here! Many times, it feels like I have no right to be here in this space but people like you make it so very worth it. Thank you for visiting The Soulfull Family blog!
A little bit about our family. My husband, Zack, is my best friend and we are blessed to be raising three wonderful children together. Zack and I were both born and raised in Pennsylvania, and we are fortunate to have most of our immediate family nearby. We love family time. Some of our favorite activities include evenings at the creek, sitting on the front porch, enjoying ice cream at our local creamery, a game of Uno in front of the fire in the winter months, pizza night at Nana & Pop-Pops, camping, time at the beach, and reading lots of books throughout the year!
A Few Fun Facts About Me:
- I believe coffee is one of God’s greatest gifts. Hot, iced, pour-over, french press, you name it, I’ll drink it.
- I lived in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, and Ethiopia) for almost a year after graduating high school.
- Peanut butter and chocolate are hands down the best flavor combination!
- At the age of 19, my husband proposed to me and my response was simply, “Wait, are you serious?” Little did I know, he definitely was!
- I homeschool our children. This has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life.
- I’ve recently loved learning about ancestral eating and the incredible benefits that whole, unprocessed foods have on our bodies.
- A good book on a beautifully rainy day, snuggled up on the couch, with a warm drink in my hand is near and dear to my heart!
My hope and prayer is that The Soulfull Family will be an encouragement and a blessing to you wherever you find yourself in life.
